The Ready screen
When you see the term “Ready screen” in this
manual, it means the phone’s display is free of
phone numbers, names, and menu items. Many of
the functions require that you start with the
“Ready screen”. To do this:
• Give END a (short) press, or CLR a long press.
(Don’t press END to return to idle when in a
call because this will end the call.)
Status indicators such as KEYGUARD ACTIVE,
ROAMING, or the name of the profile you’re using may
appear on the Ready screen and can’t be cleared.
